Walter Property Limited (WPL) is a family-owned Guernsey property holding company. It purchases properties that are considered to have potential for development either through refurbishment or by obtaining planning permission to change its classification from, for example, industrial premises to offices or retail outlets, or by the marriage value of buying an adjacent property to one already owned by WPL.

  • Appointed to the Board in 1988, Terry is a Chartered Accountant. He is a useful resource in the management of the Jersey properties in the Walter Property Limited portfolio. He travels regularly to Guernsey for meetings and provides pertinent financial advice.

  • Appointed to the Board in 2001, Catharine has been involved in the administration of the company since she moved to Guernsey in 1986. She has gained extensive experience in property management and development and specializes in negotiation of leases, property acquisitions and disposals.

  • Appointed Company Secretary in 2012 having previously been involved in the administration of the company since 2003. Educated at The Ladies’ College in Guernsey, Eleanor resigned her position at Credit Suisse Trust in 2012 to work full-time for the family company. She is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company and the financial systems.

  • Adrian joined the board in 2007 and brings significant legal and financial expertise. He was educated at Elizabeth College in Guernsey. He worked as a lawyer at a magic circle firm in London for 4 years, as an investment banker for a major global bank for 9 years and now runs a litigation funding business. He remains a qualified lawyer.

  • Appointed to the Board in 2007, Deborah is based in Boston, Ma. She travels to Guernsey annually and frequently participates in company conference calls. Her areas of expertise include marketing and logistics.

  • Appointed as an Alternate Director in 2011, William was educated locally at Elizabeth College, before attending university in the UK. He lives and works in London where he advises companies and governments on their political and media relations.
